Over the years, Actant’s founders have made significant contributions to the development of electronic derivatives trading technology. In 1985, they released the first publicly-available front-end software to offer real-time derivatives risk management with automated position updating, integrated quote feed and tick-by-tick analysis. In 1993, they pioneered the electronic order generation process for automated mass quoting, electronic eye and reaction trades on SOFFEX and DTB (now Eurex).
The Actant group of companies consists of the parent in Zug, Switzerland and subsidiaries operating from offices in Chicago, London, New York and Philadelphia.
